Welcome back one of our favorites — and one of Plumas County's own.

Danny Horton is a singer/songwriter living in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains. He has been playing professionally since 1995, toured around the globe, and reached number 8 on the European charts while signed to Tiefdruck/Universal — before returning home to Blairsden/Graeagle right here in Plumas County.

His soulful voice has been compared to Chris Stapleton mixed with Johnny Cash — weathered vagabond one moment, smooth crooner the next, and hootin' and hollerin' the next. His sound pulls from Classic Country, Folk, and Classic Rock, with just enough punk rock edge to keep things interesting. He plays a Martin guitar while kicking his own bass drum and snare — a one-man rhythm section with a whole lot of soul.

We loved having Danny the first time around, and this return visit is going to be one to remember.

This is a family night — kids and four-legged friends are welcome and encouraged. Bring your own food, grab takeout on the way, and let us handle the cold pints.
