Trivia is taking the night off. Jared Nels is back on the Waganupa stage.

If you caught him in April, you know why we wanted him back. Jared comes to us from Santa Barbara with a sound that's hard to pin down: bluegrass, blues, country western, outlaw country and rock, all built around powerful vocals and quick, clean guitar. Then there's the yodeling. He's won multiple yodeling contests and has been featured on American Idol, and it's the kind of thing that stops you mid-sip.

His set list ranges from Billy Strings, Doc Watson and Hank Williams to Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Joe Cocker, plus over two hours of his own original music. You'll hear something you know and something you don't.
