Jason Judy is a familiar face in the Plumas County music scene as a member of Feather River Revival, but tonight he steps into the spotlight on his own for the very first time.

Jason's love of music started early — you'd catch him singing or humming a tune at just about any hour of the day — but it wasn't until a high school piano class at 16 that everything clicked. From there it was a journey through keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, and even a stint on saxophone before the guitar found its permanent home in his hands. Along the way he played in rock bands and a soul and R&B ensemble in Chico, jamming with anyone who'd have him across blues, reggae, rap, and pop.

At the end of the day though, Jason is a blues guy at heart — layering blues licks over everything he plays and finding a deep sense of peace every time he picks up his guitar.

There's something special about watching a hometown musician step out on their own for the first time. Don't miss this one.
