Lederhosen & Guitars — Rock the Lot Oktoberfest
Lake Almanor, it’s time to break out your best Bavarian threads and join the party!
Saturday, September 27th, Waganupa Brewing throws open the doors at 2:00 PM for the first-ever Lederhosen & Guitars — a Rock the Lot Oktoberfest bash the whole community can enjoy. No tickets, no RSVP, no fuss—just bring your crew and come ready to celebrate!
Kick things off with our lively beer blessing (“The Benediction at the Opening of the Oktoberfest”) — yes, there will be ceremonial keg tapping and plenty of cheers. Then go arm-to-arm in the stein-holding showdown or test your handyman skills at Hammerschlagen, our nail-pounding, crowd-cheering contest.
Think your dirndl or lederhosen is a cut above? Strut your stuff in the all-ages costume contest parade — the winner is picked by the loudest applause (so bring fans!). From games and goofy moments to genuine tradition, this is Oktoberfest the Almanor way: joyful, a little wild, and totally welcoming.
Pour yourself a pint of our new Schwarzbier (you’ll want to brag about it later), grab a brat or a bite (food lineup TBA), and get ready for all-day live music.
Kyle-Matthew Taylor keeps the afternoon rocking with Americana roots from 4–6,
then help us welcome back community favorite Caleb Montgomery Band, who tore it up at our July 4th party, playing country hits and crowd favorites 7–9.
Feeling VIP? Nab one of just five $50 reserved tables — each fits four, with a frosty pitcher and a server at your beck and call.
Whether you’re a die-hard local, music fan, stein-holding champion, or just looking for some autumn fun — this party is all about raising a glass, making memories, and sharing Oktoberfest Waganupa-style.
Just show up. Rock the Lot. Prost!
